Thailand is interesting, but don't take too long in bangkok...it's hot...even stressful...go to the north to visit an ancient's kingdom or go to the south with beautiful beaches, Phuket area...cheerz
Paris is a wonderful city to visit. To stroll around just soaking up the atmosphere is a real treat (especially around Montmartre in the evening). If you plan to stay only a few days, make sure to stay either right in the centre or near a Metro station. We stayed a few years ago near the Cite des sciences et de l'industrie, right beside a Metro station in La Villette - Holiday Inn (plain but great value as you can have four to a room and it's cheaper at the weekend) and also it was beside the Cite des Sciences et de l'Industrie (a brilliant science museum for kids and adults into how the world works). It is also beside the Cite de la Musique for concerts. You'll have to go to the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre (and see the tiny Mona Lisa) and visit some cheese shops! Have a glass of wine on one of the Boulevards and watch the world go by. And go to Notre Dame - and up the tower. And walk along the Seine and take a boat trip in the evening. And - And, and, you'll never be finished seeing Paris.
